I appear to be one of the foolish ones who has picked February to visit Peru :(. From reading your website I can see that the trail is closed during Feb- is it even possible to take the train during this period?

Thank you for contacting us. Yes, the Inca trail is closed and we don't offer any trek in February, mostly because it is usually the rainy season.

You can still visit Machu Picchu by train, it never closes. You can purchase your tickets through our website: www.ticket-machupicchu.com. Moreover, this year rains are not coming yet, so the weather is nice.
